What Exit Strategy Programme is ?
True success in a business sale lies in the groundwork laid long before the marketing begins. Exit Strategy Programme specializes in this critical preliminary phase, meticulously analysing, preparing, and structuring a company to ensure it is fully optimized for a transaction before the sale process intensifies.
We act as a strategic architect, de-risking the business, refining financials, and tightening operational frameworks to maximize valuation.
Once this foundation is set and the formal sale process commences, Exit Strategy Programme seamlessly transitions into the role of the seller’s strategic advisor. While our M&A partners manage the execution of the sale—such as marketing to buyers and managing bids—Exit Strategy Programme remains focused on high-level strategy, negotiation positioning, and ensuring that the deal structure aligns with the seller’s long-term goals.

Richardt founded the first of his six companies at the age of 22 and has since sold several of them. In addition to being an owner-manager, he has served as Managing Director and interim CEO in both owner-managed and listed companies.
His core expertise lies in strategic work with a primary focus on commercial and technical matters, but he has also been responsible for an HR company and several advertising agencies in Denmark and internationally.
His professional background includes an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and Nyenrode Business University, as well as training as an export technician.
When you speak with Richardt, you will quickly sense that he has personally been in situations similar to yours. That experience means the advice is grounded in the reality of owner-managed businesses — not theory alone.
The work is carried out in collaboration with a network of specialised advisers within corporate finance, legal and capital, who are involved as needed in each individual process.
